The thermo/hygro sensor should be placed where it is sheltered from direct sunlight and weather, e.g. under a roof. Note that the international standard height for the measurement of air temperature is 1.25m (4 feet).
The UV sensor you be placed where it will receive continuous sun exposure.
The rain gauge should be placed where precipitation can fall directly into the sensor. It has to be level and ideally 61cm (2-3) feet above ground.
The anemometer (wind sensor) should be placed where wind can travel freely around the anemometer without disturbance, ideally 3m (10 feet) above any structures.
The weather forecast predicted has a probability of 70%. This means that observed over a period of several weeks, 7 from 10 forecasts for the upcoming 12 - 36 hours will be correct. Observing the forecast for only a few days is not sufficient, so please be patient!
The fine weather is a prediction for the upcoming 12 - 36 hours and doesn't reflect the current weather situation, you can look outside for that!
A weather station measures the air pressure at the location it is situated and calculates on the basis of the pressure changes that have occurred during the past 24 hours the most likely weather forecast for the upcoming 12 - 36 hours within a perimeter of approximately 30kms.

Brief interruptions to the signal are possible at any time. To force a search for the signal press and hold the down arrow button on the main unit for approx. 3 seconds.
In an open area, free from electrical disturbance, the 433MHz signal has a transmission distance of between 30 - 100 meters, depending on the type of sensor.
Unfortunately, these days areas free from electrical disturbance are rare. Various sources of disturbance such as household appliances, televisions, computers, mobile phones, power lines etc. and building features such as metal windows, concrete walls etc. restrict transmission and in some cases can make transmission impossible.
If the connection is interrupted frequently this could indicate that electrical interference is present and you will need to position the devices in another place and the connection should be re-established within 1- 2 minutes. Should this not be the case, repeat the above until a signal is re-established.
Accuracy of the remote and main unit is ±1°C. This means that there could be as much as a 2°C difference between them.
